On Sunday state broadcaster CCTV reported that nearly 500 students at the Changzhou Foreign Languages School in Jiangsu province had contracted various illnesses, including rashes and bronchitis. The report blamed toxic grounds adjacent to the school, the former site of three chemical factories. Parents are seeking answers from the school and local government.
